The following needs to be clarified and emphasized:
1. We are not engaged in argument with our beloved Brethren in Cleveland, Ohio. We responded to an inquiry from Brother Crenshaw El. We truthfully answered his questions and in accordance with our Divine Instructions, we advised him with friendship.
2. We never called you or any Moor a puppet. We are not your adversary. We are trying to help you. Why are you fighting the truth? Is it because you don’t know the truth when you hear it?
3. We as individuals cannot and should not condemn anyone. However the Prophet’s Grand Body is empowered to pass judgment on those who willfully and blatantly violate the Prophet’s Law.
4. The Prophet’s Grand body removed Emanuel Braswell from office for serious Law Violations and expelled him from the M.S.T. of A. for just cause. He is not authorized to say or do anything in the name of the M.S.T. of A. He is freelancing in the name of the M.S.T. of A. just like many other Moors.
5. Braswell does not have the Prophet’s Charter. He has a revoked Subordinate Temple #1 Charter. Have you read it? He does not have the Prophet’s Seals. He has a set of seals that were used by Temple #1 to seal Korans and Constitutions. He does not have any M.S.T. of A. documents authorizing him to do anything at the County, State or National Level. He has misinformed you. Have you read the documents you attribute to him? What do they say?
6. Emanuel Braswell was removed from office in part, because he is a habitual liar and needs treatment for his inferiority and insecurity psychosis. Why would you accept the words of a person with a psychotic disorder as being the Gospel Truth? He’s not in sync with the Prophet’s Law. He does not comply with our Supreme Laws nor does he comply with our Supreme Grand Council Regulations, which were prepared and enacted while he was AWOL from his assigned duties for five months in 1995 and for a highly unacceptable reason.
7. How can you justifiably defame the character of your Brother in Islam based on what you have been told by a habitual liar? A good Moor governs himself by the principle that “Man knows naught by being told”.
8. In as far as the sister you spoke of who wanted to use the telephone, she was a leader in a group of Drug Addicts who we had cautioned on numerous occasions about hanging out in the alley next to the Temple, leaving liquor bottles, beer cans and trash on the ground and urinating on the Temple Building. For just cause, we had an issue with her.
9. Historical documents disclose that Brother C. Childs Bey failed to support Brother E. Mealy El in 1929 and that he led Temple #7 away from the Prophet’s Grand Body. Brother William Stringer El gave new members in Temple #21 the literature of C.M. Bey before he gave them our Prophet’s literature. He gave Temple Funds to the Washitaw Moors and signed his name “William Stringer”. How would our Prophet view these Moors?
The problems of Cleveland, Ohio began during the 1929 Convention and continue to this day. The Moors in Cleveland have been misled, misguided and misinformed since 1929 due to their failure to think for themselves and seek the truth. Noble Drew Ali is our Leader, not the mere ideas of men. They have failed to search out and read Historical Documents or were selectively fed by enemies of the Prophet. They must go to the library and communicate with intelligent Moors, outside of Cleveland. Every card carrying Moor in Cleveland should be loaded on a bus, driven to Emanuel Braswell’s house in Chicago and demand that he give you complete access to the “Hot Box”, and an opportunity to copy any and everything you desire. I put the “Hot Box” together. I know what’s in it. It’s the TRUTH. He should also give you access to his secret Storage Facility. The Moors in Cleveland, Ohio must stop hating those who are trying to lead them out of the dark and into Noble Drew Ali’s marvelous light.
In conclusion, you must immediately turn from your sinful ways of repeating the lies that Emanuel Braswell has told you. Show Love and Tolerance for your Brother in Islam. I am not your enemy. Those who have opposed our Prophet (Emanuel Braswell, etc.) are your enemies. You must get a list of the Historical documents that you need access to. Once you know the truth, you will be free.

At the outset, if you want to know who I am, simply google Azeem Hopkins-Bey. I serve as the Assistant Grand Governor of Pa., and Chairman of Temple #11 (Philadelphia). I am a student of the Holy Prophet Noble Drew Ali, therefore I seek unambiguous and concrete information concerning our Prophet, in order that we may be what we know. I have been informed that you served as S.G.S of the Mealy-El portion of the MSTA. I am with the (so-called) Kirkman-Bey portion of the MSTA. I have been TOLD a lot about the 1929 convention, however I humbly ask do you have a copy of the minutes of 1929. These minutes would destroy a plethora of myths being perpetuated about the Prophets Movement. I have a copy of the 1930 minutes, of which my past Grand Sheik Bro. J. Traylor-Bey played a major part alongside Bro. E. Mealy-El, however the elder Moors state that E. Mealy-El was removed from office at the 1929 convention therefore rendering what occured in 1930-1934 null and void.

In regards to your inquiry concerning the 1929 Convention Minutes, you should be able to get a copy from some of the Moors that you are affiliated with. You need to check with the Moors at Augusta & Hoyne in Chicago Il., Bro. C. Warner Bey in Lockport, Il. or whoever in your group has custody of the records which belonged to Bro. C. Kirkman Bey or Sister Whitehead Bey (aka Sis Dove El). They were at the 1929 Convention. I did serve as S.G.S. in the Prophet’s Grand Body from 1968 until 1992. We are not conceited, but take pride in saying that we are not a portion of the M.S.T. of A., but the original Grand Body established by our Holy and Divine Prophet-Noble Drew Ali. Are you a collector of Historical Documents? I have been collecting Moorish Historical Documents since about 1970. Bro. Mealy El was my mother’s Step Father. My Great Grand Parents, Grand Parents(Mother’s Side) my Mother and many relatives joined the M.S.T. of A. in 1928 and 1929. I was born into the Temple 1939. Stay in tune with the Prophet’s Web-Site, we will be
demonstrating a lot of Moorish History including Historical Documents which will shed a lot of light on the true history of the M.S.T. of A. Islam, and Praise be to Allah, the Almighty Eternal and Incomprehensible. High Honors to His Holy and Divine Prophet Noble Drew Ali. I thank you for responding to my inquiry. However, I must be clear, please pardon me if I have not been transparent enough. We of Moorish Science Temple #11, are on a FACT finding mission, in order to arrive at the knowledge of TRUTH. We have informed ourselves of our own ignorance; we have been seeking carefully, pursuing manfully, and laboring patiently. We have consulted with our own elders, as well as elders not affiliated with our Grand Body. Again, we have been TOLD many things, without supporting or corroborating evidence. As I stated earlier, we humble request a copy of the 1929 Convention minutes, if you have access to them. We have a copy of the 1930 minutes, and if you have read them, you would see that most of the Moors affiliated with Bro. C. Kirkman-Bey did not attend that convention, and Bro. I. Cook-Bey who was in attendance stated that he did not care to give his report. We have been TOLD that the Moors didn’t attend that convention because Bro. E. Mealy-El was removed from office and at the Convention of 1929, and Mealy-El subsequently acted on his own accord in 1930-1934. We would simply like to bear witness to the “documented proof.” We have traveled across the country sitting with different Moors who say they know; in spite of this our Koran teaches us that man knows naught by being told. We have heard about the so-called “hot-box” and for that reason we traveled to meet with the SGS of that portion of the MSTA, and we bore witness to certain documents, however the minutes were never produced, and we still to this very day are humbly making request to those Moors for a copy. My question to you, being that you stated you “put the hot-box together,” is what does is contain? Are the minutes of the first two conventions there? Did you make copies of the information in it? As we stated earlier, we sincerely and humbly request a copy of the 1929 convention minutes if you have a copy. We here in Temple #11 share information, any and all information which can shed light on the truth. Did you check the sources that I recommended to you? Do you have the 1929 Convention Program? Bro. E. Mealy El was not removed from office in 1929. Moors should stop saying this. It’s only done to discredit Bro. Mealy El because he would not change what our Prophet put in place. In the 1929 convention, Brother Mealy El said “The Prophet told me that he had given us the Divine Plan of the Ages, and nothing in it can be changed”. There are those like Braswell Bey and Ra Saadi El who have hid the truth, and are committed to distorting the truth in order to advance their agenda. We just caught Ra Saadi El deliberately distorting the lineage of the MSTofA. Braswell Bey has disenfranchised the Grand Body by teaching that The Supreme Grand Council and the Grand Body is one and the same. The answers that you are looking for are not in the 1929 Convention Minutes. You must look at some of the letters written by Bro. Mealy El in 1930 and 1931. After what Ra Saadi El did to us (He linked up with us in 1992, got a lot of data, then ran with it.), Braswell Bey objected to P.Davis El giving Ra El copies of Historical Letters and you can be assured that Braswell Bey will never give you anything. In the 2003 Convention, he accused me of giving out Sensitive Letters.
